A smile is the first step to something new.
When you let your heart be the compass
You won't get lost, not if you trust it
I hate the ending myself but it started with an alright scene.

Optimus Prime came to congratulate us on the kill afterwards.

Take my hand, we'll make it I swear
The devil whispered in my ear,
"You are not strong enough to withstand the storm "

Today I whispered in the devil's ear,
"I am the storm."
The stars in the night, they lend me their light

Finally a character in WoW that I actually like.

Destinies Unraveled

As the mad king falls, the city in the sky lurches out of its orbit and began rapidly gaining speed as it approached the planet. Tall crystal spires came crashing down with terrifying force. Parapets crumbled and buildings slowly collapsed under their own weight. In the center of the city is the great palace and within it the throne room of the sorcerer-king. He has finally been defeated. The archmage thought to himself, but at a great cost. He looks around the room bodies of his enemies and comrades strewn about. His life long friends lie lifeless on the floor. He is alone. He is the last. He looks around until he spots the body of his fallen wife. Next to her a princess dressed in red and gold is crouched over her body. The princess catches his gaze as she slowly stands up with his wife's necklace in hand.

The archmage eyes light up. He knows what he must do and he knows his time is short. He hurries over to her and takes his necklace off and places it into the girl's  palm next to his wife's necklace. He begins to weave a spell of teleportation about the young princess. A guttural laugh rings through room. The mad king lies slumped over his crystal throne. His power spent. His regal robes of power tattered and burnt. His crown shattered on the ground beneath him. The palace shakes violently. As if the palace itself is dying.
"You're too late" he rasps. "It is hopeless. The forces I have put in motion will be the end to all things, you cannot stop them nor can she" he chokes as death slowly creeps in.
"The same blood may run through her veins but my power will die with me. If you save her you will die here." says the mad king. He shudders one last time.

The archmage turns back to her as the king mutters his last words. As he finishes his spell. "Some things" he said to her "Are worth dying for"
His sad smile was the last she saw of him and the palace as the room faded away to her. She didn't understand.

A small light flares at the top of a bluff high above the ocean. This world is cold. She was in a strange place she didn't recognize. She runs to the edge of the cliff and looks down. A city sprawled below her. She quickly searches the night sky for the shining city. There! At such a distance it appears to be a mere falling star. After a few minutes she feels a tap on her shoulder. She turns to see a stranger holding out their hand to her. The two necklaces hanging from it. A warm smile on their lips.
"Excuse me I thinked you dropped these" the stranger says.

Wordlessly she takes the two necklaces from the stranger.

"I didn't think anyone one would be up here to watch the falling star. I can see you're not from around here. What is your name?" the stranger asks

She shakes her head and smiles.

The stranger realizes she doesn't understand her. She points to herself "Ayrlyn" the stranger with the striking smile says.

The princess does understand this. She also gestures to herself "Nicci" she replies in an odd musical tone not of this world.

Nicci's gaze first goes to the two necklaces still dangling from her hand. Both of them of the same make. The only difference is one is set with a ruby and the other a sapphire. They sparkle ever so slightly as the falling star flares up one final time.

Both turn their gazes to the falling star to watch it fade out of existence.
Neither one understands what exactly has happened here or what will happen.
They don't even understand one another,
but they both dreamed of something radical......
They didn't believe in fate. They would unravel destiny and write their own future.
